I think I will be heading straight from work in Warwick on Friday at about 5 (but returning to Moseley on Sunday).
Assuming my requirements are a bit specific, so I will need to drive. I can offer lifts if my route suits people!

Re: Peak District, 5-7 July
Can whoever gets there first try & indicate where they can be found on the campsite? I think it is quite a big campsite!
I am planning on heading there for early afternoon on Saturday.

Re: Peak District, 5-7 July
Just called Cooper's. They don't do bookings except on bank holidays. They think there is a good chance of getting a space for a few tents together if you arrive Friday, or early-ish Saturday. If you arrive 5-6ish Saturday, it might be full. However there are two or three other campsites so they can...

Re: Peak District, 5-7 July
I am probably just going to head up Saturday afternoon - as I have some errands to run on Saturday.
But it would be nice to know what campsite to head for!

Burton pub crawl (8th June)
Intelligence suggests an abundance of nice pubs serving nice beer in Burton on Trent. It seems rude not to go there and sample a few. However, make sure you don't miss the last train home. Further details to follow, but do let us know if you are coming below so we can keep you updated. So far I am e...

Climbing (& BBQ) in Cov (Sat 22nd June)
Warwick University have just opened a state of the art climbing wall. It looks really special, and worth a day trip. Geoff & Lynn live just down the road, and would be up for hosting us afterwards. I think the plan would be to have a barbecue if weather permits. Rumour has it Geoff will even let...
