I will be in the lakes with work and keen to MTB, looking at hiring a demo bike for the weekend. If the weathe ris good I would also like to try my first spot of outdoor climbing.

I feel ashamed to say I have never climbed outdoors.

As you will see Derby is within the North Mercian Kingdom. Thus, I am a Northerner through and through, even in th...

Re: Stair Cottage, Keswick - 7-9 Feb

I went to whinlatter just after the new year. If you like smashing a bike down at huge speeds requiring little technical ability it is a dream (my dream). I've been to both bike parks in the lakes and it is the better one. Would be keen to hire a bike and join.

Re: Cwm Glas Mawr - Llanberis Pass - 17-19 Jan

Karl, I would love the Tiramasu! I'm happy to go for a plod on both days. Depending on what I get up to on saturday. I don't mind doing Tryfan. But as always I tend to make the call the night before. Looks like I will be driving up solo, so keen to understand this parking malarky. I don't want to be...

Re: Any winter gear I can Borrow for New Year?

Hi Stew

Thanks for the offer, I have now hired my winter gear and will pick it up when I'm back in Scotland. Therefore, I wont require the ice axe :)

Many thanks
