Hi, Mike, can you put Pauline and me down for the meal, we both want the turkey and Xmas pud but Pauline will start with the squash soup and I'll have the venison banger!

Do they do booze there?

Pauline and I are travelling down later this morning and will pick up the key mid afternoon.

Last minute decision, Pauline and I will brave the iffy weather forecast!

Thanks, Matt, please put us down for the BBQ, but I'll pass on the run - it'll be as much as I can do to heave my carcass up a hill without inflicting further masochism on it!

Is the BBQ plan for Saturday still on?

Incidentally, Pauline and I plan to get there lunchtime Friday, I hope to do a SOTA activation of Helvellyn Saturday.

Matt, if the weather is good and there are places available we would like to stay for three extra nights, if the weather is poor we would like to just stay the Sunday night - but we are hoping for an Indian Summer!

Please put Pauline and me down for it, too. Do you know if we can stay longer or will I have to contact them and ask?

I'm very sorry to say that Pauline and I have got to drop out, we've got landed with looking after a three month old black spaniel: one dog I can take camping, two would be a disaster, specially as the little blighter yaps! I was looking forward to this meet, too!

Do they allow dogs?

Pauline and I are interested as long as its a fine weekend - I want to activate The Cloud and Shining Tor!

We're planning a weekend on the Gower soon, Nicholaston Farm has PYO fruit and we intend to stock the freezer! No date settled, we will aim for a fine weekend. (optimists!)

Oh, I got it alright, Norman! Trouble is, it is busy peeling off again!

Its the well-known British summertime breakfast cereal - skin flakes!

It reverses in summer - we had lovely sunshine and got back to cloudy Birmingham!

Radio-wise, I was particularly pleased to get three summit-to-summit contacts on Sunday, to Cadair Idris, Great Knoutberry Hill in the Dales and Winter Hill in Derbyshire. SOTA is still growing!

That is annoying, we will be hanging around for eight hours and will have to eat out instead of cooking the evening meal we have packed. D*A*M*N!
