Re: Christmas Dinner 18th December @Manzils Digbeth

Hi everyone, I’ve just had the schedule for Saturday and unfortunately it’s later than I thought. So I won’t be back in time sadly. Hope everybody is ok!

Yes please to any veggie food. I should get there at some point late afternoon on 30th. I’m still happy to camp outside if more space is needed!

Fairly certain I’m free for this. I’ve got a short gig in the afternoon near Wrexham but don’t know the exact times yet. So I should be back in time. Please add me to the list. Hope everybody is good!

Re: May BH2 - Reeth - 28-31 May

I hate to say this.......

I’ve just had a concert confirmed for May 30th. It’s outdoors so it might get cancelled if there’s rain. If that does happen I’ll definitely come up to Yorkshire. I’m really sorry as I was really looking forward to this one. Hope everybody is ok!

Re: Armchairmans Challenge: Kettle music.

That’s amazing Beth.

The Le Gibet one is good also. I used to try bits of Gaspard de la Nuit which it’s from on the piano when I was at music school but I could never really get anywhere near it. It’s generally considered the hardest of all piano pieces if you can have such a thing.

Re: Armchairman's Challenge: Victoria's Vibrator (6a)

I am fortunate that in Langdale there is Kettle Crag. Probably the most appropriate route would be ‘The Singing Kettle’ VS 2 stars 20 metres. Climb the crack left of Rose Puchong to a heathery bay. I’d be feeling very at home in the heather so that would be perfect but then it becomes more tricky. T...

Re: Armchairmans Challenge: Kettle music.

It’s a bit tricky for me to pick one track, but it would have to be something from a Mahler symphony I guess. I’ll go for the final bit of Mahler’s 2nd Symphony which would count as a track.

Am I allowed to award myself the bonus points?
