Just a heads up about the remaining camping meets this summer.
26th/27th July - Wye Valley/Wintours Leap
I figured a slightly nearer destination for this meet, since the Friday before is the leaving bash for Simon and Jodie, allowing for a leisurely Saturday arrival. Lovely riverside walks, and the impressive multipitch routes (at Wintours) make this an interesting venue. Exact location to be confirmed.
9th/10th August - Southern Snowdonia
Based close to Dolgellau, this meet gives us a chance to visit the quieter side of Snowdonia, with Cader Idris and the Rhinogs to be explored. And close enough to Tremadog for the rock jocks. Exact location to be confirmed.
23rd/24th/25th (Bank Holiday) - Yorkshire
Choosing a slightly closer location should make for a more relaxing meet, and give us all more time to enjoy the last camping meet of the year. Lots of walking and climbing on offer, plus real ale and ferrets. Surprise surprise, exact location to be confirmed.
If anyone has any suggestions for camp sites then I warmly welcome them.
