Cwm Dyli Snowdonia 4 - 6 Dec

Post by Jules »

Hi folks

Next meet is now open for booking. Staying at http://pinnacleclub.co.uk/club-hut/ at the foot of Snowdon. (According to Vic, the showers are the best of any hut in the land, so if that floats your boat, sign up below).

Cost is £9 pppn, 13 spaces available

Plenty to do around here and the beginning of December may even bring snow, or at least clear, crisp, sunny days. (Or it could lash it down, Langdale style but there is a pub up the road for that eventuality).

The perfect time to get to the hills before the festive onslaught arrives, sign yourselves up!

Going:

Nima

Please could you book Nima, Tom and I in for this one? We can offer slow cooked shoulder of pulled pork for dinner on Saturday evening...

I'm in for this one. Food offer sounds amazing, please put me down, thanks Tom and Emma.

Adam says he's in also, meet and dinner please!

Obviously the weather is going to be perfect but just on the off chance of grottiness I'm taking my bike. I'll dig out some local routes.

Who thinks they will be there first? I have the key but doubt I'll be there before 8.30 or 9. I'll bring the key to the wall if anyone thinks they will be there before that

Hi Jules

I am planning to leave around 4pm on Friday.

May be a good idea to take climbing gear for Indoors, as weather looks to continue to be very gusty.

Forecast looks a bit mad on sat.. Propose a very lazy start on sat with log fire, then climbing wall in afternoon. Sunday looks good

Looks like it's a good job this meet was in Wales and not the lakes. I hope the weather wasn't too much of a washout for you.
