Cae Groes, Llanwrst 15-17 jan

Post by Adam »

Hello All

After a last minute change of venue, the next meet is now open for booking. Staying at the Cae Groes Hut in Llanwrst. Two good mountain bike tracks are on the doorstep, Marin and Penmachno. Betws y Coed is down the road for the hardcore tea shop brigade. And you can do walking if you feel inclined.

See below for all the info. There are 15 spaces, the price is £13 per night (I think this one is also run by bankers). Sign up quick, its less than 2 weeks away.

http://www.bbrcc.co.uk/caegroes.htm

Cae Groes House, Nebo Road, Llanrwst, LL26 0SD.
Grid ref: SH806613 (marked Cae’r-groes on some maps)
Four miles north of Betws-y-Coed along the A470
1. Enter Llanrwst on the A470 from Betws-y-Coed
2. Turn right opposite the Birmingham Garage repair shop, just before the railway bridge
3. Immediately turn right (only five yards further!) into Nebo Road.
4. The long narrow driveway to Cae Groes is on the left about half a mile further, immediately before the high chain link fence of the leisure centre.

see you there

Can't commit yet as it's not a dog friendly hut :(
Does anyone know if there is a dog friendly pub nearby where I can spend evenings if sleeping in van?
Cheers

Please sign me and Vic up for this. This is the other hut owned by Barclay's Bank Climbing Club, maybe it'll have wifi too.

Emma, please sign us up for food too.

Sorry all, I'm going to have to bow out. Forgot I'd already agreed to go ro my mate's 30th.

Unless central trinity comes into nick, then I'm sacking him off.
