Hello Mercians

Time to pack your bags and head to the Lakes again. This time we will be in Buttermere at Syke farm campsite. For the tea shop Mercians this will be Friday and Saturday, for the hardcore Mercians this will be Friday only followed by a wild camp on Saturday. The wild Camp will be somewhere around the Pillar/Haystacks area, details TBC.

Sign up, and make yourself known as Hardcore :supz: or tea shop :smt006

Price £8 per person per night.

don't know if i'll be able to join you, but here's a little tip for the saturday night. If it's raining (obviously extremely unlikely in the Lake District) you can always find your way into Dubs Hut bothy - it could definitely squeeze 10 in and last time I was in there were many campbeds for added comfort

Given the forecast and how wet it has been, we are going to give being hardcore a miss this weekend and will try again another weekend.

Hello Mercians

Due to the low numbers now going on this meet, it has now been canceled.

Hopefully there will be a bit more interest in the Ingleton meet on the 1-3 july.
