i'm happy to camp, i was just wandering if there was somewhere nearby.

Anyone know what is a good climbing book for this area?

And ill be driving up Thursday if anybody wants a lift?

I love my tent though Joel and it hasn't been out for a while. Plus you will be there before me so have the hut space!

Joel, the SMC books are good, they have a definitive guide to Glencoe. But if you want something that offers just the most popular routes in the whole of Scotland, there is a selective guide. Type "Scottish Mountaineering Club Climbers' Guide" into Amazon and it'll (quite literally) throw the book at you. I also own the "Scottish Rock: South v. 1" which is quite selective, but nice and glossy, it feels more like a Rockfax, and if you only climb a few routes a year in Scotland it'll probably be good for you as it covers lots of places the club goes year after year.

I see that the West Highland Way links (quite literally) the front of our hut with the front door of the pub which is a 1 mile walk. Happy days.

Looks like you need £1 coins for showers and heaters so might be worth saving a stash.

Although if we all shower together we would only need a couple.

Eww err......

Joel, this is the guidebook you really need, and the SMC one I think Stew is referring to...........

Brilliant, thank you for all the suggestions.

Everyone seems to be sold out of Scottish rock, but i got the mountaineering guide.

Can I be put down for food as well please.

Anyone needing lifts Thursday, returning Monday?

How many cooks do we have now? And what nights are we each doing?

I think Andy has bagged Friday.

Adam, me and Anta have all also volunteered so maybe we have one extra? Unless someone is cooking Thursday or Monday?

A bit random, but is anyone staying up after the extended weekend?
I'm working in Glencoe next week, would be good to meet up Thu/Fri/Sat evenings 20-22nd April if peeps are still around

Hi Ed
Unfortunately I think most people have headed back by then. A couple are heading over to Skye but most leave glencoe tomorrow. Hope you get good weather though, last couple of days have been lovely :)
