Evening

The hut sec has got back and confirmed we can have the extra spaces. The extra cash has to go back with the key, so if whoever has it can return it to Andy after the weekend.

So, who's cook for the weekend.

Cheers
Adam

How about a French Onion Soup to start? Not veggie but I should be able to make it dairy free. With French bread and gruyrere (optional).

Nice and warming after a day out in the snow!

Soup sounds good Joe. I’ll also do haggis heaps and tatties as a main. Can’t guarantee I’ll find veggie haggis so perhaps any one who wants just neaps and tatties can bring something of their own to accompany.

Soup would be great - thanks Joe.

I'll bring along a veggie option of some sort to go alongside Stew's neaps & tatties for anyone that wants. :D

Yes please to neaps and tatties Stew, and yes please to your veggie alternative Fran. Joe can I ask what goes in the soup to make it non-veggie?

If we're having two courses we might as well go all out and have a third! I could do a fruit crumble of some sort...

Sigend up for (lactose free) crumble: Adam, Vicky, Andy, Vijay, Vic, Stew, Joe, Jake

Sorry for the confusion folks - badly worded explanation. The soup is NOT veggie but I can avoid the butter to make it dairy free if it’s needed. It’s made with beef stock. I could try a veg stock but no idea what it would taste like!

Stew - i’ll give the haggis a go, thanks. Believe it or not I’ve never had it before but happy to give it a try!

Beth/Fran - I reckon I can make this with a veg stock. It should be tasty and hot which is what will be needed looking at the forecast!

I will make it tomorrow so i’ll do enough for everyone unless I hear otherwise.

Hi all,
Sorry, I've not been on the ball with this. If I'm not too late then please sign me up for all dairy free food available.

I am going to make the onion soup veggie and dairy free so it should be fine for everyone. I’ll know whether it been a success later - about 40 onions to peel first! :P
