George Starkey, Patterdale - 13-15 April

No sooner do you get back from one meet, than there's another one to book on to. This time its George Starkey in Patterdale, a Mercian staple.

We all know Helvellyn is just over the road, but what else is there. You could head in the opposite direction to Place Fell, go scrambling on St Sunday crag, hire a boat on Ullswater, nip round to Borrowdale for some rock climbing. Plenty to keep a Mercian entertained.
