I'm taking some stuff for a BBQ, weather should be good for it.

None declared groups that have booked pitches individually under different names will forfeit their pitch without any refund of any fees paid

While we would not use this camp site again maybe we should go to the pubs for meals.

Yes they do seem quite threatening about taking 3 nights worth of camping payment from us, and a place to stay. Nightmare. Agree with your suggestion Vic M on merchandise and covering or stashing stickers.

Fab, Vic, Beth and I look like we're bbq'ing etc on site for at least 2 nights. Having bbq weather is too rare.

It sounds like we're forced into independent clumps of 3 or 4 on the site, roughly in line with any car share or tent sharing. And then perhaps arrange a pub visit via text and leave the site at different times. Hopefully there's signal.

It seems like maybe: Fab Vic H Beth and I are sharing a car so will be in same location, Joe and Karl sharing car, Vic Stew and Adam, Sarah and Lou. My tent is a big green vango 500 if you choose to join our clump.

Sarah and I are leaving at 3pm so should arrive before the curfew. Hopefully we'll have tea on the way for Friday night. For the rest of the nights happy to play food by ear. Just some common sense needed I think.

Having said that ....... .I might make a big song and dance about borrowing some coffee or sugar from a 'random' neighbouring tent Saturday morning and then magically find we have stuff in common and make friends with them. No rule against that.

If you expect to arrive after 8 pm make sure you know where on the site you are allocated.

For the purpose of future looks at this conversation, the campsite was lovely and we could socialise as a group as you would at any other campsite
