Hello Mercians,

Only two weeks until the next meet! How exciting. This time we are off to the Helyg Hut, superbly located in the Ogwen Valley. All the delights of Tryfan and the Glyderau are located just out the back door and in case that's not quite enough mountain for you, the peaks of the Carnnedau range are just across the road.

There is an evoloution of climbing gear exibition at the beacon on saturday afternoon/evening. Equipment and photo exibitions, gear testing, guest speakers. Afternoon free, evening £4. Could combine with dinner in Caernarfon.

What's the plan re Saturday night then? I'm happy to cook a Thai fish curry unless people are heading to Caernarfon for dinner? (may sound a bit weird to some of you but others in the group have had it before and it went down a treat!)
