Annual Dinner Meet Langdale: 25th -27th November

Post by ZoeB »

Hi All,

The annual dinner is at the Three Shires Inn in Langdale on Saturday 26th November at 19:30.

https://www.threeshiresinn.co.uk

I’ve attached the menu so that we can pre-order the food. Please let me know what you would like by Sunday 20th so that I can confirm numbers with the pub.

Accommodation is the Little Langdale Cottage. There are 16 beds available at £10 ppn. It’s only a few minutes walk to the pub!

There are only 6 parking spaces so recommend sharing where possible. More parking may be available in the village if you’re lucky!

Please sign up below.

Thanks
Zoe

Me and Campling are booked into the Langdale campsite, we will bring our bicycles and cycle to the hut/pub. Zoe if you could add a couple of extras to the tables that would be super x

Hello,

Lucy and I would like to attend.

I note that the hut is almost full. We are happy to bring the campervan and sleep in it, in order to free up some beds, but we would need dibs on a parking space outside. We will obviously pay half rates as per the rules.

Thanks,
Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterward.

I'm in if there's spaces left, if not I'll come for the dinner and sort somewhere else to stay 🙂

Re: parking, I think it’s easier for anyone who can’t park by the hut to actually park not up the lane in the village but on the other side of the Ford down the lane. It’s a 5 minute walk, but a 15 minute drive away bizarrely. So clear communication if possible on the WhatsApp group on the evening to let folk know when the parking is full. If memory serves Karl I’m not sure you can will fit without occupying more than 1 space with a van of your magnitude, but I might be wrong.
