2014 Photo Competition (Thu 8th Oct 2014)

It is with pleasure that I announce that the annual Mercian Mountaineering Club photo competition will take place at 8pm on Thursday the 2nd of October at the Wagon & Horses.
You are therefore invited to submit to me, via email, up to 5 of your mightiest photos (the highest resolution you have please) by Monday the 29th of October.
Rule:
- Photos must be submitted to me by email on or before Monday the 29th of September 2014.
- You may only submit photos taken after the 28th of October 2013.
- For each photo you send you must indicate which of the following categories you are entering the photo into. The categories are:
Meets.
Fun/Funny.
Action shot.
Landscape.
There is no limit to how many photos you can submit into each category, so long as your total does not exceed 5 photos. For example you might submit 4 photos into the Meets category, and only 1 into the Action Shot category. Alternatively, if landscapes are your thing you could submit all 5 of your photos into that category.
The specific voting rules will be outlined on the night. Essentially, we will vote for a winner in each category, and then from these top 4 photos the overall winner will be decided. The overall winner will receive the coveted prize of having their winning photo printed to canvas (ooooooh!) and it will also appear on the front of the 2015 Mercian calendar (aaaaaaaah!).
The more photos I receive the better the evening will be so get to work people.
