Mike, sorry, I can't promise real ale - this is entirely Vijay's recommendation! It looks on the website like they sell a pint of M&B Mild. Or a guiness. Or you could go to the pub first and stock up?

The Sportsman does not sell real ale I gave them a ring. I think I will stop off at the Wellington http://www.thewellingtonrealale.co.uk/ in Brum about 5.30pm before getting the Metro.
