Yeah, I've just heard from him and he said town was gridlock, he's feeling rubbish and so he's gone to bed.

Wine sounds like a good idea. Drop us a line in the morning if you are going to head up.

sledging in warley woods anybody? It's near me, not far from where we usually have the rounders in lightwoods park and has a good slope for sliding down. Bring your skis (or trays)

Sledging in Sutton Park!

If it makes anyone feel better the conditions in Snow...............donia are not in condition yet, lots of snow on the tops so like swimming the gulleys are not frozen enough yet maybe next weekend then!

No Huw no snow chains, think we might need a whip round for club funds another loss

Hi guys

Was it the wrong type of snow for the most adventurous mountaineering club? Wasn't until Ali checked it was a no go before we had a tandoori platter and cobra beer in West Brom.

We could have been sleeping in the car. Sledging in Sutton tomorrow.

It was the poor road conditions for me combined with the fact that everybody had bailed!
Always check the forum before starting out to a meet! :D

Morning all

Vicki and I are going to meet at 1pm at town gate, Sutton Park for sledging and possibly (probably! Drinks after). Come join us! It's right by the railway station for those that don't have a car :)

My Social meet walk on Sunday starts from Harborne see under Social meets viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1253 is half way between Warley Woods and Sutton Park and passes through town. More importantly it is within walking distance of my house

If you still had your Landrover CJ you could bring the Northerners to Harborne.

**As no one could make it to the hut due to the snow (or the roads being full of other cars stuck by the snow!), this has been moved to:

The 8th and 9th of June. I'll set up a new forum thread nearer the time. H
