Also, there is a fire place in the hut but fuel is not provided. Suggest a few of us pick up some coal/wood on the way up (cost could perhaps by covered by the Huw tax?)

From my vast cooking repertoire (of 2 dishes - one being cooked breakfast which I'm quite proud of I might add), I'll do a chilli on Friday night. Put your bids in!

Put me down for both meals please. Pub dinner one night? Seems like this is a hut with a few pubs nearby for once :D

p.s. thanks for volunteering to do cooked breakfasts Jules ;-)

Hello...what's the consensus on pub dinner sunday night? If people don't fancy that I can do sausage and mash :)

Are people planning on Skiing/boarding if so where, Sarah needs a lesson and looking to book tomorrow, currently both Glencoe and Nevis range are looking good for conditions.

Were thinking Glencoe on Friday as it is closer, then Nevis on sat depending on how good Glencoe is

yeah, Me and Huw (and Julie?) are definitely planning to ski. Matt said he was keen as well. Glencoe Fri and Nevis Sat were similar to what we were thinking.

I think Glenshee will well worth the trek on Friday, less time in bed but its a huge area compared to the other areas.

A93 Glenshee-Braemar was the only route closed when I checked a couple of nights ago. Trafficscotland.org for more info. I'm thinking about Ben Cruachan on Fri, and Ben Lui, Tarmachan Ridge or some place up Glencoe way for walking on the other days.

How about nearby glencoe for fri as a safe bet for hire then, and we can explore the others after.

Chris B - Adam and i trying to free up the brake cylinder didn't work, i lubricated the pads in the end. The mechanic replaced the cylinder as it was cheaper than messing about trying to refurb it. So bring some bike oil :) And don't put your tools at the bottom of the boot like i did.

Bangers and mash sounds great Beth, though if you fancy the pub one night i reckon plenty of us would be keen on some apres ski for one of the nights, J and I included, its a 4 day hol after all!

Hi,

I've booked a lesson at Glencoe tomorrow morning, so that's where CJ and I will be heading, hope some of you decide to go there too.

See you later. :D
