Peak District Camping - 26 to 28 July

Post by Adam »

Hello

Since a few people have registered an interest in camping (and to fill in our long summer meet gap), I was looking to book somewhere in the Peak District for the 26 to 28 July.

It is now booked, at the WatersideFarm Campsite, for 20 people with 16 tents. If there are more people wanting to come I can up the numbers. Its £3 per person per night, £3 per car per night, £3 per tent per night. So if two people go in a car and have a tent each it will cost £7.50 each per night. The post code is S33 7ZL. Situated half way between Edale and Barber Booth.

Being situated at the foot of Mam Tor and Kinder Scout, there is plenty of climbing, biking and walking in the area. There are two pubs in Edale. If you fancy it put your name down.

Ah, just realised that this is in two week's time not next weekend. I'm away on the Monday so I might need to leave on Sunday morning. Is nothing happening next weekend?
