Hi Ben,
I have an old thermarest thing you can borrow. (It does have a tendency to deflate in the night but even then it is more padded than a regular roll mat.) I've also got some size 5 shoes you can borrow but they have the toes through a bit but might be better than nothing.

I'll put them in unless I hear otherwise.

Hi lakes campers,

Harriet and I would now like to join the meet this weekend if we can...it's too windy for the sea kayak trip we had planned!
The camp site is probably full by now, but we can't get an answer on the phone number anyway. Wondered if there are 2 people with single pitches who would mind sharing a tent?
If we come we can offer a lift, will be leaving late on friday, 7.30-8, from Henley (south of Brum)

I've just spoken to the guy at the campsite and he has got an area cordoned off for us. If you turn left when you go in, you should see pitches 1-4. Behind those is a fence with a triangular area cordoned off. This is our spot. You will need to leave your cars in the carpark which is apparently about 50 yards away.
We are going up tonight so you should be able to spot the yellow North Face tent.

Ben, not sure if you want my roll mat or not, but i'll throw it in anyway.
