Llangollen 17 - 19 July

Post by Jules »

Hi all

Time to get yourself signed up to the next meet!

This one will be in Llangollen, staying at http://www.towerfarmholidays.co.uk/ £6 pppn

Plenty of trad and sports climbing in this area, I think most people have been here numerous times. It’s a shorter driver from Birmingham than most meets and there are lots of wet weather options – there are rivers (or the canal) for swimming in, really good cross country mtb routes as well as Llandegla trail centre which is down the road for anyone keen on biking, and of course plenty of pubs (some of very dubious quality) in the town.

More importantly than any of that, there is a steam train……………

(As the next two meets following this one overlap the Dolomites trip, there may well be a few less people attending those, might be worth noting for your weekend meets/climbing planning)

No, different campsite. The original one won't take groups and unfortunately we are now too big a group to pretend we don't know each other.....

Me plus two guests (two tents) I hope I don't start a drop out trend. Thanks

Hi. Put my name down please - also need a lift (from Moseley, or nearby). Off work that day, so can travel any time. Still need a lift, if anyone has space.
Thanks
