Pen Y Clogwyn, 11-13 March

Post by Adam »

Evening

This is a hut we haven’t been to in recent years (if at all). It’s a good looking hut that sleeps 18 people. It has all the mod cons, hot and cold running water, AND no less than two flushing toilets – for your delight and enjoyment.

Situated up the from the Shell garage in Betws Y Coed (turn left at the Costwold Rock Bottom shop). Ideal for mountain biking at Penmachno or the Marin Trail. A short drive will get you to the usual Snowdon Tryfan area. However it may be worth heading south in to the Moelwyns, as this is an area the club does not visit very often and might be a welcome change.

18 beds, £7 per night.

Sign up if you cool (and if your not, we need to cover costs).

Don't get too excited about all the mod cons as it's all gas powered. At least it was when we last went there. This is the first hut I ever went to.
It's a bit tricky to find and a bit of a trek from the car (although I guess it might just have seemed a long way as I want used to it. ☺) so pack light is possible.

Hi Adam. Just to clarify, I meant only to sign up Nima for this meet. Unfortunately I can't make it.

Hi guys,
I don't think anyone has volunteered to cook yet so, inspired by our Wagamana visit the other day, I'll offer to cook chicken ramen noodles. (So long as people volunteer to help carry the food up to the hut. :))
