Morning Everyone

Just been looking at potential hills for the weekend and typically Helvellyn sticks out among many others!

It is looking like the snow has cleared at the summit but some remains on the ridges up to the summit. Daily weather report below with photos! :)

If a party fancy the trek, would anyone possibly have an ice axe i could borrow? It may not be needed by Saturday or Sunday but you never know.

Thanks

Post by RolandNClarke »

Dear Harry,
I will bring one of my ice axes for you. It is old tech; laminated bamboo handle.

Hi Vic, Beth

Whats the crack with the hut key. If its a key not a code what time is the first person planning on getting there.

Cheers

Hi all,
Vicky has left the key with me. It is key and not code. I'll be leaving at 3.30 with Harry and would estimate a 3hr30 drive if traffic isn't bad.. as there may be other groups staying there that weekend as well there might be a small chance that another group could let you in?

My number is 07963938957 if you need to message to make plans or check our ETA!

Hi all,
Currently enjoying sitting in a backlog of traffic from a car accident on the m6 around junction 14. Why would you expect anything else. If I assume the worst I think ETA will be towards 9pm. However, I do have brownies for everyone..
