Morning Mercians!

Only a few weeks until the next meet. I hope you have all recovered from Vijay's excellent birthday celebrations and are raring to go.

This time we will head to the Peaks. I'm confident it will be glorious sunshine by then, perfect for a spot of climbing, hiking of biking around Stanage Edge and Hathersage.

Campsite is North Lees - https://www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/visitin ... thlees

Book online, £7.50 pppn. I'm off to visit a baby in Nottingham on Saturday but I'll come and join you for Sat night/Sunday.

I would be up for this, although I might just do one day...

I have to sort my bike out first as I am heading to the Alps the weekend after and it depends how I get on with maintenance !Image

If there is climbers and climbing weather on the sunday, I'll head over for the day.

If your camping it would be best to get booked early, I think that site fills up fairly quick. Pindale farm in Hope is a good back up.

I get some message about starting on a dark green day

I haven't Fabian. But that seems really odd. I can probably give them a call after 10 am tomorrow morning and ask?

I am probably just going to head up Saturday afternoon - as I have some errands to run on Saturday.

But it would be nice to know what campsite to head for!

Afternoon All

I have made a couple of phone calls and North lees campsite is fully booked on Saturday.

In addition Pindale farm is fully booked out by schools this weekend.

Could anyone who know the area recommend an additional campsite?

Thanks

Harry

Hi

I have found this campsite below. It is close to North Lees. Although, I can't seem to find out a price.

https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/deta ... revid=2596

I will give them a call in a few mins and see if they have space.

Thanks

Harry
