Hello, sorry a only just spotted all the messages. Campsite drama! Harry let me know if no luck and I will do some more research. I know there are a couple in Edale, which is not too far away.

Ok, there is Fieldhead or Waterside Farm - I'll give them a ring tomorrow.

We don't absolutely have to go to that bit of the Peaks, so if anyone has other suggestions (e.g.. Roaches) happy to change location.

You could try Coopers campsite in Edale. Drive as far down the road as you can. Turn left at the Nags Head. There's a pub (obviously), a cafe and a chip shop.

We've stayed there quite a few times. Only downside (or benefit?) Is the lack of mobile signal.

Clearly, we won't be there as we're currently in France :D

Hello, sorry did not manage to ring anyone in the day, I was back to back in meetings at work. Manic! I have tried a few just now but no answer. I will try again in the morning.

Stew I am at a bbq in Nottingham Saturday daytime. I would join you Saturday eve then probably go for a walk or cycle on Sunday.

Just called Cooper's. They don't do bookings except on bank holidays. They think there is a good chance of getting a space for a few tents together if you arrive Friday, or early-ish Saturday. If you arrive 5-6ish Saturday, it might be full. However there are two or three other campsites so they can normally find a space somewhere.

It's quite a large site, minimal fuss, which is why we like it.

I’m ok with Coopers. Will head there Friday. Probably arrive at 9-ish. I’m climbing with Vic on Saturday Andy so can coordinate a crag choice in the pub Perhaps. We are keen to climb as a 2 as we’ve not been out much recently and want to get some mileage in.

Hi
I'm also planning to come friday for a climb on saturday.
Probably I will bring a family around.
I just wanted to precise the place- Coopers- is that in Edale village- S33 7ZD ?
Thank You for help with that...
I'm happy to climb in two's or three's but I don't have climbing gear (I left in Poland for climbing trip in August there)...
I hope there will be enough ropes and nuts to take part :)
See You soon !
Ana
