Yes, my maths was wrong.

You remember last NY meet, when the best day was the 1st, when everybody was leaving? What a bummer, especially for VH who I recall being particularl hung over and unable to join in on the Breakfast Club.

Also note that in Scotland the village halls typically have ceildh on the evenign of the 1st. Last time we were at that hut for NY, Harriet and I went to a really good (and possibly the nearest) event down in (boy my feet are) Killin'. Was £5 on the door, BYOB, and a 'reet good laff!

I am free from the 27th so would be up for heading up early.

I have already booked the 2nd and 3rd off so would be up for staying on.

(I'd prefer to head back on sat the 4th)

I really want to come. But I am playing in Newcastle on 29th so couldn’t get there until 30th and I appreciate that it wouldn’t be fair on somebody else for me to take a space. So I might try and find somewhere nearby for the 30th onwards. Hope everybody is good!

Hi Matt, we still have 5 beds spare so there is plenty of room if you want to stay at the hut. I don't expect we will be inundated with new sign ups!

Thanks Vic! Well if people don’t take up the spaces, or if there is one going spare then obviously I’ll take one for the 30th onwards. Thank you!

Email sent round about extra nights. Please let me know if you want me to book any. The hut lady is on holiday over Xmas so we need to let her know asap.

Thanks,

Vic

I'm happy to cook one night. Thinking something Mexican, exactly what tbd, probably a mix of things but I will include something veggie and something with either chicken or fish.

Usually basically everyone signs up for meals so is it easier to assume everyone wants it to save filling the thread with 'food please' comments? I will assume everyone wants in, and if anyone just wants veggie, or wants to do their own thing, let me know!

Signed up: everyone

Predictably, my work has been extended in Newcastle until
January 1st so I can’t make it now. I’m really sorry! One day I’ll make it to a meet. Hope everybody is good!

Might be interested if I can get the days off work. Are there any car shares for the 28th-1st?

Hi Daniel, a few of us leaving Brum on 27th of that's any good. Not sure of other's movements. I think quite a few folk are heading from other parts of the country as people are off visiting family for Christmas.

Are you stopping somewhere else on the 27th? Are most people still leaving on the first?
