Nantlle Valley - 9-11 July

Post by Adam »

Hello Mercians

These camping meets are coming thick and fast at the moment, got to beat those pesky tourists. The meet will be at Tal Y Mignedd in the Nantlle Valley. Some of you have been here before and came back with good reports. So what is there to do?

Hike - a bike to the top of Snowdon. Or just plain hike the Nantlle Ridge or Mynydd Mawr
Bike - a bike to the bottom of Snowdon.
Climb - anywhere but Cwm Silyn, because that place is falling to bits. Try Tremadog instead.
Anything and anywhere within a few miles is your oyster.

As per usual with camping, book your own space. The campsite have us penciled in under 'Adam Butler / Mercian Mountaineering Club', so best to quote this.

Price is £6pppn.

See you there.

I've also emailed for myself, Catherine and possibly David.

Update: the lovely lady phoned me back and we're booked. It's either cash on arrival or you can pay by bank transfer. Details to follow.
