Is it here I would ask about arrangements for driving? I never learnt but will happily pay for fuel for car and driver in the form of cake.
Edit in case it was not clear. Money for petrol costs as well as cake because I kinda like baking and well, cake.

Me and Matt are going up a day or two early in the van so count us pit of the lift share.

It's an old fashioned key system and they have posted it to my house. Happy to pass on to someone who is staying at the hut. Equally we will be in Patterdale already on the Friday so can meet people there with it if needed.
