I like to think I am ethical in what I eat. I will not eat pork, chicken or turkey unless it is outdoor reared and preferable British. I do not agree with factory farming. Lamb and beef are generally reared outdoors in the UK. I would not touch Danish pork or bacon.

I’ll phone the pub and find out.

good for you Mike, I don't buy Danish pork or factory chicken/eggs either. The pub said they source from local suppliers where possible.

I have just spoken to the hotel and the pie will probaly be steak and ale pie so I am happy to have that. So put me down for Soup and pie.
